Update: Police seek help identifying suspects and vehicle in Sundance break-in

Thanks to tips from the public, one of two men believed to be responsible for a break and enter at a community centre in Sundance in July 2025 has been identified and charged.

Brent Richard NORRIS, 62, has been charged with one count of break and enter and commit. NORRIS will next appear in court on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025.

The pickup truck involved in the incident has also been identified and located.

Investigators are still looking for the public’s help to identify the second suspect believed to be involved in the break-in and are sharing an image and updated description to help advance the investigation.

The suspect is described as a man with a light complexion and slim build. He was seen wearing dark-coloured cuffed work gloves and coveralls, and black boots.

We are asking for the public’s help to identify two male suspects believed to be responsible for a break-and-enter at a community centre in Sundance earlier this month.

At approximately 4:20 a.m., on Friday, July 18, 2025, two unknown individuals allegedly forced their way into the storage garage of the Lake Sundance community centre, located at 63 Suncrest Way S.E.

Once inside, it is believed the suspects took a 2024 Gator utility vehicle and drove it into an alley roughly two blocks north, near Sunhurst Crescent S.E. They abandoned the Gator there for about 48 hours before returning to load it onto a flatbed trailer hitched to a pickup truck. They then left the area heading northbound.

After exhausting all investigative avenues to identify the suspects and locate the vehicle, police are now turning to the public for assistance.

The vehicle is described as a dark-coloured Ford pickup truck. The two male suspects were last seen wearing dark clothing.
