Police seek assistance to identify person of interest

The Calgary Police Service is investigating a home invasion in the community of South Calgary.

On Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, a man was the victim of a home invasion and had an undisclosed amount of money and credit cards stolen.

On the same day, there was an attempt to use the stolen credit cards at a convenience store in northeast Calgary. Police obtained images from the convenience store and are asking for help from the public to identify a person of interest.

The person of interest is described as Caucasian, with brown hair and a beard. They were wearing eye glasses, a blue baseball cap, a dark coloured jacket and a blue and white shirt. Photos can be found on The City of Calgary Newsroom.
