Police seek assistance in identifying suspect in weapons incident

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect in a weapons incident that took place inside a bank.

On Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, at approximately 4:40 p.m., an unknown man entered the TD Bank located at 77 Castleridge Blvd N.E., and fired an imitation handgun into the air. The suspect then immediately fled from the bank. No one was injured and nothing was taken. The man’s motive and intentions are not clear at this time and police continue to investigate.

The suspect is described as an unknown man between 5’6” and 6’ tall, 20 to 35 years old, wearing black pants, a black jacket, a white shirt, dark grey hoodie with the hood pulled up around his head and a black and white bandana covering his face and neck with only his eyes exposed.
