Police request public assistance in boat theft investigation
Police are asking if the public has any information regarding a boat that was stolen from a residence in the northwest community of Bowness.
At approximately 5:40 a.m., Tuesday, Aug.1, 2023, a 2021 white Centurion powerboat on a trailer with the license plate Y98136, was taken while parked in front of a home in the 6000 block of Bowness Crescent N.W.
Police arrived and canvassed the area and are now looking for any further CCTV, dashcam footage or witnesses from the area of Bowness Crescent N.W. and 67 Street N.W. between the hours of 5 to 6 a.m., on Tuesday, Aug.1, 2023.

Police would also like to ask the public to keep an eye out for the boat on Alberta and British Columbia’s lakes in the coming weeks.
