Police looking for truck connected to shootings

We are asking for help to identify a truck that is believed to have been involved in three separate shootings this past week.

Around 4:10 a.m., on Monday, May 18, 2020, a shotgun was fired into the front door of a home in the 0-100 block of Shawinigan Way S.W. Then, five days later on Saturday, May 23, 2020, residents in the same area reported hearing a gunshot around 5:15 a.m. This was followed by reports that a house, located in a different community along Queen Anne Place S.E., had a shotgun fired into the front of the house around 5:45 a.m.

No one was injured and the connection between the incidents is still being determined.

In all three incidents, witnesses and CCTV saw a similar pickup truck fleeing the scene. It is described as a black, early 2000s-model, possibly Dodge or Chevrolet pickup truck with a silver toolbox in the back. The CCTV photos are not high-quality, but they are being released in the hopes that they might be recognizable for someone who knows the vehicle.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call our non-emergency line at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers through any of the following methods:
