Police look to identify harassment suspect

The Calgary Police Service is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect believed to be responsible for harassment and stalking in the southeast community of Cranston.

On Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, police received reports of a suspicious man walking by the 0 to100 block of Cranbrook Garden S.E., and he is believed to have been peering into a residence. The man was captured on CCTV footage returning to the home multiple times between Sunday, Sept. 29 and Monday, Sept. 30, 2024.

On Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024, we received a second report of a suspicious man appearing on CCTV footage at a residence located in the 100 block of Cranbrook Square S.E. It is believed the man visited the residence multiple times between Monday, Sept. 23 and Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024.

Investigators believe the same suspect is responsible for stalking both residences and are now asking the public to come forward with information that could help further the investigation.

The suspect is described as approximately 25 to 30 years old, approximately 6’ tall, with a slim build and a fair complexion. He was last seen wearing light-coloured shorts, dark-coloured sandals with socks and a grey hoodie with the drawstrings pulled tight.
