Police lay charges and seek public assistance in identifying additional break and enter suspects
We have charged one man and one woman in relation to several break and enters at a southeast business and continue to seek public assistance in identifying multiple additional suspects.
Between Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, and Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, it is believed approximately six suspects broke into the Sephora store, located at 4307 130 Avenue S.E., four different times, stealing approximately $89,267 worth of merchandise.
After careful review of CCTV footage of the incidents, and with the help of Loss Prevention Officers, two suspects were identified and arrested.
On Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, police arrested and charged Matthew Trevor PLUMRIDGE, 35, with one count of theft under $5,000, two counts of break and enter and one count of mischief to property.
We also arrested and charged Tina Marie GAGNON, 39, with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
Both PLUMRIDGE and GAGNON are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023.
At this time, police are seeking the public’s help to identify additional suspects involved in these incidents. It is believed the suspects used a U-Haul truck to transport the merchandise and possibly parked the truck in the Prestwick area near the Sephora store.
