Police investigating undetermined death

Our Homicide Unit has been called in to investigate after a body was found near the Bow River this morning.

We were called at approximately 10:45 a.m., today, Sunday, March 10, 2024, for reports of a body located on the south side of the Bow River, underneath the 14 Street bridge. At this time, the death remains undetermined and detectives from our Homicide Unit have been engaged.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

Investigators are in the process of reviewing CCTV and speaking with witnesses and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
