Police investigating undetermined death in southeast Calgary

We are on scene after a man was found in medical distress earlier this morning in the community of Southview.

We were called at approximately 5:10 a.m., today, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, for a reports of a man in medical distress on the 1700 block of 35 Street S.E. EMS responded and transported the man to hospital, where he later died.

Investigators are now on scene working to determine what led to the man’s death and how he ended up on the road. 35 Street S.E., between 17 Avenue and 19 Avenue is expected to be closed for several hours while the investigation continues.
