Police investigating suspicious death in Pineridge

We are on scene and investigating after a man’s body was located inside a residence in northeast Calgary.

At approximately 12 p.m., today, Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, we were called to a residence located in the 2000 block of 65 Street N.E., for reports of a man in medical distress. Upon arrival, police located a man deceased inside the residence. 

Our Homicide Unit is now investigating and officers are in the process of speaking with multiple witnesses. An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 25, 2023. 

As the investigation is in the early stages, no additional details are available at this time.
