Police investigating suspicious death in Marlborough

The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating a suspicious death in the community of Marlborough.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., on Saturday, June 09, 2018, police responded to reports of a disturbance at a residence in the 0-100 block of Margate Place N.E. When officers arrived, they found a man in his 40s in medical distress.

The man was transported to hospital in serious, life-threatening condition and later died.

An autopsy to confirm his identity and cause of death is scheduled for Monday, June 11, 2018.
