Police investigating bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service is investigating a bank robbery that occurred in the community of Falconridge.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, a man entered the CIBC located at 5242 Falsbridge Drive N.E. He had a hood over his head and the bottom half of his face covered. The man indicated that he had a gun, demanded money from the tellers and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Investigators are releasing a CCTV photo of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help to identify him. He is described as black, in his 20s, 5’10” to 6’ tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a dark grey or black Air Jordan “Flight” hoodie and black gloves, and he was carrying a royal blue bag with a white zipper.
