Police investigate suspicious death in Lynnwood

We are currently investigating a suspicious death in the southeast community of Lynnwood.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2023, we were called to the 7700 block of 18 Street S.E. for reports of  a deceased woman. Upon arrival, police located the woman. One man was initially taken into custody for questioning and has since been released. There are no suspects in custody at this time. 

The Calgary Police Service’s Homicide Unit is now investigating the circumstances of the death and is asking anyone with information to contact police.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, June 29 ,2023.
