Police investigate serious-injury motorcycle collision in the city’s southwest

Last evening, our Traffic Section responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle collision in the southwest community of Rosscarrock that left one man with life-altering injuries.

Yesterday, Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at approximately 8:50 p.m., a motorcycle operated by a man in his 20s was travelling westbound on Bow Trail S.W., between 33 Street S.W. and 37 Street S.W., when it left the roadway and struck a lamppost on the grass median.

The rider was transported to hospital with serious, life-altering injuries.

Speed is being investigated as a factor in this collision. All other factors remain under investigation.
