Police investigate multi-vehicle collision in the northeast
Our Traffic Section continues to investigate a collision involving three vehicles that occurred at Centre Street N.E. and 24 Avenue N.E. last night.
At approximately 6:25 p.m., on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, a white 2017 Ford Escape, driven by a 34-year-old man, was travelling west along 24 Avenue N.E., approaching the intersection at Centre Street N.E.

The Ford Escape came to rest on the west side of Centre Street.
The Lexus 250 was then struck by a silver 2012 Volkswagen Touareg, driven by a 50-year-old woman, who was travelling south along Centre Street N.E.
The driver of the Ford Escape sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the Lexus 250 was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition. The passenger was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Volkswagen Touareg was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
