Police investigate fatal stabbing in Bowness

Our Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred early this morning in the northwest community of Bowness.

At approximately 3:25 a.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, we responded to reports of a disturbance in the 7700 block of 41st Avenue N.W.

Upon arrival, officers located one man who appeared to be suffering from stab wounds. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Two men who were also at the scene have been taken into custody.

An autopsy date is being determined. Our Homicide Unit continues to investigate.
