Police investigate fatal shooting in Falconridge

We are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the northeast community of Falconridge.

At approximately 7:30 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, police were called to the 0 to 100 block of Falconridge Place N.E., for reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, police found one man suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. He was declared deceased on scene.

Based on evidence, investigators believe this is the same suspect responsible for the early morning shooting that occurred in the community of Castleridge yesterday, Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, that left a man in critical condition.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, wearing a blue hoodie, blue bandana, black baseball cap and black backpack. It is believed he is in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5'10" tall, with slim build.

The suspect was last known to be on foot in the area of the 0 to 100 block of Falconridge Place NE and is believed to be armed and dangerous. We ask the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious persons or activity in the area. If members of the public see anyone matching this description or people acting suspiciously, we ask that they do not approach them and call 911 immediately.

The photos released are infrared images making dark clothing appear to be light.
