Police investigate fatal collision involving a CTrain
The Calgary Police Service Traffic Unit continues to investigate a collision that resulted in the death of a woman yesterday morning.

At the time, a female pedestrian, approximately 25-to-35 years old, may have been attempting to cross the median at that location, when she entered the path of a westbound CTrain, operated by a 58-year-old male.
The pedestrian sustained significant trauma to the head and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The CTrain operator was uninjured in the collision.
Speed or impairment are not considered to be factors in this collision.
