Police charge man with bank robbery

The Calgary Police Service has charged a man in connection with a bank robbery that occurred last month.

On Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at approximately 6:25 p.m., a man entered the ATB, located at 50 Saddletowne Cir. N.E. The man approached a wicket and presented a robbery note.

The man received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.

On Wednesday, March 1, 2017, the Calgary Police Service Robbery Team with assistance from District 5 patrol units identified and arrested the man without incident.

Chany BICHIOK, 18, of Calgary, is charged with one count of robbery.
