Police beleive undetermined death to be non-criminal

The Calgary Police Service has investigated an undetermined death after a man was found dead inside a makeshift shelter in Nose Hill Park yesterday.

At approximately 12:15 p.m., on Saturday, March 4, 2017, police were called to the park by a hiker who had discovered the body. The Homicide Unit was sent to investigate, as is protocol in all undetermined deaths. 

At this point, police believe this death was not criminal in nature. 

The autopsy is scheduled for Monday, March 6, 2017, and no further details will be released unless the autopsy determines the death to be suspicious.
