Police ask for help to locate man charged with domestic offences

UPDATE: Christopher MUNRO has been taken into custody.

The Calgary Police Service is asking for the public’s help to locate a man wanted on warrants in connection with domestic offences.

At approximately 6 a.m., on Monday, July 23, 2018, a domestic incident occurred at a residence in the community of Riverbend. It is believed a man assaulted a woman he was in a relationship with, robbed her, and then forced her and her roommate into a vehicle belonging to someone else in the residence before driving away.

It is alleged that the man then drove the woman and her roommate to the community of Lincoln Park, before ordering them out of the vehicle and driving away.

The woman sustained minor injuries during the incident. Her roommate was uninjured.

Christopher Andrew MUNRO, 27, of Calgary, is wanted on warrants in connection with this incident. He is charged with two counts of kidnapping, two counts of uttering threats, and one count each of intimidation, robbery, motor vehicle theft and theft under $5,000. He is also wanted on warrants for other unrelated charges.

MUNRO was last seen driving a grey 2006 Ford Focus.
