Police ask for help to identify person of interest

The Calgary Police Service is investigating an indecent act and is asking for help identifying a person of interest that investigators believe may be involved.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, police were called to a movie theatre located at 91 Crowfoot Terrace N.W., for reports of a man masturbating in one of the theatres. When the man realized he was being watched, he left the theatre through an emergency exit.

The man was described as Caucasian, in his 40s, 5’7” to 5’9” tall, with a heavy build and light hair. He was wearing a black jacket and black pants.

Investigators are releasing CCTV photos of a person of interest in this case with the hope that he can be identified and questioned as part of the investigation.
