Police ask for help to find vehicle vandals

The Calgary Police Service is investigating after 17 vehicles had windows broken earlier this week in the community of Elgin.

Sometime between 11 p.m., on Monday, April 11, 2016, and 4:30 a.m. the next morning, police believe that one or more people in a vehicle drove around Elgin and randomly shot out windows of parked vehicles with a pellet gun. The vehicles were spread throughout the community and there were no witnesses to the offenses.

No one was hurt as a result of the vandalism, however the total cost of the damage could be as high as $17,000.
