Police and Fire investigating fatal fire in Falconridge
At approximately 1:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 7, 2016, the Calgary Fire Department was called to a residential fire in the 100 block of Falchurch Crescent N.E. Fire crews found a fully involved house fire which was spreading to a neighbouring property. The fire was quickly brought under control, however, the bodies of five adult men were recovered from the house.

Investigators are still interviewing witnesses and awaiting the completion of autopsies on the victims, and therefore have not yet determined if there is anything suspicious about this fire.
The autopsies are currently underway and will likely be completed either today or tomorrow. The names of the victims cannot be released unless the deaths are deemed to be criminal in nature and no further information about the fire is available at this time.
