Pineridge fatal shooting update

We continue to investigate a fatal shooting that occurred early this morning in the city’s northeast. Calgary Police Service detectives are looking to speak with a woman in relation to the incident.

At approximately 1 a.m., today, Monday, March 30, 2020, we were called to the 5700 block of 18 Avenue N.E., after receiving multiple reports of citizens hearing gunshots. After searching the area, officers located a male in medical distress. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.

Police allege that the incident took place at a nearby residence and officers spoke with a number of potential witnesses at the scene. This incident is not believed to be gang related.

Detectives are seeking public assistance to locate a woman, Cody Edith BRADBURN, who is believed to have knowledge in relation to this investigation.

BRADBURN is described as 33 years old, 5’5” tall with slim build. A photo of Bradburn is available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
