Ongoing incident in West Springs

At approximately 4:15 p.m., today, Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, police were called by a family member concerned for the wellbeing of a loved one.

Police remain on scene in the 100 block of Weston Place S.W. The Tactical Unit and Negotiators have been called out to assist.

The public is not believed to be in danger, however, precautions have been put in place for the neighbouring homes. This remains an ongoing incident and no further information is available at this time.
