Need to identify suspect in Fish Creek assault and robbery

We are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who is believed to be involved in an assault and robbery that occurred in Fish Creek Provincial Park.

On Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, between 5 and 6 p.m., a man was approached by an unknown man while walking in Fish Creek Provincial Park near Bow Bottom Trail and 153 Avenue S.E. It is believed the suspect demanded the man’s belongings. An altercation ensued, during which the suspect produced a knife, stabbed the victim and then robbed him. The suspect then fled the area.

After exhausting all investigative avenues to identify the suspect, we are now asking for help from the public.

The suspect is described as a man in his late 40s, 6’2” tall, approximately 170 pounds, with a slim build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, a black baseball cap, blue jeans and blue Adidas shoes with white stripes.
