Need To Identify - Senior Robbed

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a man believed to be connected to an incident where a senior was robbed.

At approximately 11:40 a.m., on Sunday, April 29, 2018, a senior withdrew an undisclosed amount of cash from an ATM at the CIBC located at 3619 17 Avenue S.E. When he turned to leave the bank, he was confronted by a man brandishing a knife. The suspect directed the victim to withdraw additional money, which he then took before fleeing with all of the victim’s money.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 5’11” tall, with a heavy build, blond or red hair, with a beard. He was wearing a black toque, grey hoodie, grey shorts and black flip flops. Photos of the suspect can be found on The City of Calgary Newsroom.
