Murder suspect wanted on Canada-wide warrant arrested

We can confirm that a man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for second degree murder has been located and arrested by police.

At approximately 9:30 a.m., yesterday, Aug. 1, 2021, the suspect was located by some of our Mountain Bike Unit members downtown in the area of 5 Avenue and 4 Street S.W. As a result, police were able to apprehend the man and take him into custody.

Antoine Joel GROS VENTRE BOY, 26, is charged with second-degree murder in relation to the death of Paul MARCH, 62, in June.

GROS VENTRE BOY is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Aug. 16, 2021.
