Missing wheelchair located

The Calgary Police Service has located a missing wheelchair that was stolen along with a vehicle on Thursday, May 24, 2018. 

The wheelchair was found abandoned in the Albert Park area. The vehicle has not been recovered.

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a wheelchair that was stolen along with a vehicle from a home located in the community of Albert Park.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, May 24, 2018, a silver minivan was stolen from a driveway in the 2700 block of 9 Avenue S.E. Inside the van was a wheelchair used by the owner’s daughter for mobility.

The van is described as a 2007 Dodge Caravan bearing Alberta licence plate BVF 8206.

The wheelchair is described as a black Tsunami Little Wave XP, model number TALWX-14.
