Alexandra ZOGRAFOS has been safely located. Thank you to the public and media for your assistance.

Original release:

We are seeking public assistance to locate a missing teen.

Alexandra ZOGRAFOS, 13, was last seen in the southeast community of Forest Lawn yesterday evening and has not seen or heard from her since. Police and her family are concerned for her welfare.

Alexandra is described as 5’4” tall, 125 lbs and has red hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be carrying a backpack. Photos of Alexandra are available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.

Investigators believe that she may be attempting to travel to British Columbia.

At this time, there is nothing to indicate foul play is involved. Although this case does not meet the threshold for an AMBER Alert, we are working with our partners at the Missing Children Society of Canada to issue an alert in hopes of locating Alexandra.

Anyone who has seen Alexandra is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers using any of the following methods:
