Missing Person – Ryan PORTERFIELD

We are seeking public assistance to locate a Calgary man, who has been missing since Tuesday.

Ryan PORTERFIELD, 32, was last seen in the southwest community of Elboya on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at approximately 6 a.m. He last communicated with his family via text message on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 8:15 p.m. It is out of character for PORTERFIELD to not be in contact and his family and police are concerned for his wellbeing.

A comprehensive search has been conducted by members of the RCMP, Calgary Police Service and Calgary Search and Rescue Association over the last couple days, but PORTERFIELD has yet to be located. Area residents are asked to check their property and to report anything suspicious to police.

PORTERFIELD is 6’1” tall and approximately 170 pounds with a slim build. He has blue-green eyes, slicked back brown hair, and a long beard, along with tattoos on his shoulder, left arm, and a half sleeve on his right arm. He typically wears black Carhartt work pants, a blue Altec work shirt, a black toque, Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, and black Etnies skateboard shoes.

Photos of PORTERFIELD and the vehicle are available on The City of Calgary Newsroom.
