Missing Person – Ryan PORTERFIELD – Update

We are asking the public to continue their efforts in helping us locate a Calgary man who was reported missing last week.

As investigators continue to search for Ryan PORTERFIELD, we are asking citizens living in the area of Highway 566 and Range Road 293 in Balzac, AB to thoroughly search their properties for any indication that PORTERFIELD may have visited the area. 

PORTERFIELD’s vehicle, a grey 2021 Hyundai Elantra, was located abandoned on Range Road 293 approximately 500 metres north of the intersection of Highway 566 in Balzac, AB, near (but not at) the Costco Wholesale store on Thursday, March 17.

PORTERFIELD is 6’1” tall and approximately 170 pounds with a slim build. He has blue-green eyes, slicked back brown hair, and a long beard, along with tattoos on his shoulder, left arm, and a half sleeve on his right arm. He typically wears black Carhartt work pants, a blue Altec work shirt, a black toque, Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, and black Etnies skateboard shoes.
