Medical Examiner confirms deceased is Kelly FLOCK

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has confirmed that a man found deceased in a wooded area last night is Kelly FLOCK, of Calgary.

Kelly FLOCK has been missing since Thursday, June 22, 2017, and was last seen at a restaurant in the 2700 block of 34 Avenue S.W. Police and his family have been searching for him since.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., on Thursday, July 13, 2017, police and the Calgary Fire Department were called to a wooded area in the community of Britannia, after nearby residents noticed what they thought could be a body in the area.

Police officers, firefighters and HAWCS helicopter searched the woods and located FLOCK.

It has been determined that his death is not suspicious and therefore, no further information can be released to protect the privacy of the family.

The family has also requested that media respect their privacy and refrain from asking them for comment at this point.

The Service would again like to thank the media and the public for this assistance in the search for Kelly and would like to extend its condolences to Kelly’s family and friends.
