Media Availability: Customer grateful Calgary Transit operator finds lost groceries

On Tuesday, April 11, a Calgary Transit customer accidentally forgot two bags of groceries on a bus. Not believing he’d ever see them again, the customer, who is on social assistance, called Calgary Transit.

Transit staff went to work, contacted the operator of the bus, who retrieved the groceries left behind.The groceries were then turned over to the delighted and extremely grateful customer by the Transit operator, who found them.

Today, the customer will meet up with the operator to say thank you.
