Media Availability: The City of Calgary and the Calgary Public Library announce New Year’s Eve Celebration events

The City of Calgary and the Calgary Public Library are hosting a media availability on Friday, Dec. 14 at 9:30 a.m. to give media the chance to learn more about the fun activities planned for Calgarians on New Year’s Eve.

This New Year’s Eve, Calgarians can ring in 2019 in the Rumpus Room in the Municipal Building Atrium and a family dance party in the Central Library featuring a kid’s countdown at 9 p.m. There will also be a skating party at Olympic Paza along with food trucks parked on 3 St S.E., and across all three sites there will be art, ice sculptures and roaming performers.

The night will be finished off with the ENMAX fireworks on the roof of the Calgary Tower to ring in 2019.
