Media availability: Rose Kohn and Jimmie Condon Arena upgrades

Calgary Recreation is hosting a media event to celebrate the completion of the Rose Kohn and Jimmie Condon arena upgrades project. 

The media availability will be held on Friday, April 8 at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Kohn and Jimmie Condon Arenas. The event will be attended by Councillor Kourtney Penner and Jarret Hoebers, Regional Operations Manager with Calgary Recreation. 

What: A first look at the $12.5 million upgrades to Rose Kohn Jimmie and Condon Arenas.

When: Friday, April 8 at 9:30 a.m.

Where: Rose Kohn and Jimmie Condon Arenas - 502 Heritage Dr. S.W.

Who: Coun. Kourtney Penner and Jarret Hoebers, Regional Operations Manager, Calgary Recreation. 

NOTE: Attendees are welcome to skate and take photos/video once the figure skating group booking concludes at 10 a.m. 

A free community skating event has been planned to celebrate the completion of the project. The Community Skating Event will take place on Saturday, April 9 from 5 -7 p.m. at Condon Arena.
