Media Availability: Official opening of new affordable housing development in Bridgeland

Media are invited to attend the official opening of the Bridgeland affordable housing development – the second City affordable housing development to open in 2017.

Mayor Nenshi will be joined by Sandra Jansen - MLA Calgary North West, Ward 9 Councillor Gian-Carlo Carra and Sarah Woodgate - Director of Calgary Housing & President of the Calgary Housing Company to officially announce the opening. Following speeches, there will be a community celebration barbecue for community members to see the new development and welcome new community members to the area.
