Media Availability: New Ralph Klein Park Natural Playground sponsorship announcement

Media are invited to join The City of Calgary and TD Bank Group to announce the sponsorship of a new natural playground at Ralph Klein Park. The playground is sponsored through TD Common Ground initiative created to recognize Canada’s 150th anniversary by creating a legacy of green spaces for communities across Canada to enjoy.

The City worked Grade 3, 4 and 5 students from Fish Creek School, McKenzie Towne School, Haysboro School and Penbrooke Meadows School to create the design for the new playground. The playground will help connect people to nature and provide an opportunity to learn about the importance of water conservation. The Ralph Klein Park Natural Playground project is one of seven national flagship projects proudly supported by TD’s #TDCommonGround initiative.
