Media availability: Historic City Hall Time Capsule Retrieval

On Thursday, November 8, media are invited to Historic City Hall to view the retrieval and opening of the time capsule that was placed in Historic City Hall on September 15, 1908.

Please note: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), steel-toed boots, hard hats and protective glasses, will be required. If you have your own, please feel free to bring with you, otherwise Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided to you.

If you require steel-toed boots, please email media.relations@calgary.ca and indicate the size(s) needed in your response. We also remind you that as this is a construction zone, tour participants are required to wear long sleeve shirts and full- length pants.

When: Thursday, November 8, 20189:30 – 11 a.m.Please R.S.V.P. by emailing media.relations@calgary.ca by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov 7. And include any PPE requirements you may have.

Where: Historic City Hall, meet at the site construction trailer on Macleod Trail, 800 Macleod Trail S.E.
