Media Availability: A little more rhythm than your regular commute

Monday, March 28 kicks off JUNO Week in Calgary! The City alongside OutLoudYYC, the JUNO Awards host committee is pleased to invite media to a special event celebrating our city’s vibrant music scene and one of the many opportunities for all Calgarians to enjoy the festivities leading up to the award ceremony on April 3.

         Steel & Timber, a local three piece band comprised of Nathan H-Thompson (banjo),
         Ben Rogalsky (guitar) and Phil Brayton (upright bass)

When: Monday, March 28, 2016
Time:  11:00 a.m.
Where: City Hall Station (southbound platform)

Event details: Mayor Nenshi and Marco De Iaco of Tourism Calgary will address media on the south platform of City Hall Station at 11:00 a.m.

At 11:29 a.m. (approx.) media are invited to hop on a southbound train we’re we’ll ride with the musicians and volunteers. The train will return to City Hall at approximately 12:25 p.m., but reporters are welcome to exit the train at any time.

Transit fare is not required for media attending this availability.
