Media advisory: Tuscany Fire Station official opening and community celebration

Calgarians will celebrate the opening of the Tuscany Fire Station this weekend with a free, family-friendly event. There will be treats and a fire truck for the kids.

The much-anticipated new station allows the Calgary Fire Department to better provide public safety services to four fully- built out northwest communities of over 30,000 people – Tuscany, Rocky Ridge, Scenic Acres and Arbour Lake – as well as support new growth in NW neighborhoods recently approved by City Council.

Media are invited to tour the new station and attend the opening event.
