Media Advisory: Technical Briefing for the One Calgary 2019 – 2022 Service Plans and Budgets

At 11 a.m. on November 14, Media are invited to a technical briefing that will outline the One Calgary 2019 – 2022 Service Plans and Budgets. This is an embargoed briefing, media that attend will be in lockup from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. At that time the document will be presented to Council and journalists will be free to report. All media in attendance will be asked to sign an embargo agreement.

Following the media briefing, the 2019-2022 Service Plans and Budget will be presented in Council Chamber at 1:00 p.m.

Media who do not have a designated work space at City Hall are welcome to remain in the Power Reception Hall where the Council meeting will be web streamed.

Following the update in Council, media are invited to return to the Power Reception Hall for a Q&A opportunity on the budget with Mayor Naheed Nenshi, members of Council and City of Calgary Acting Chief FInancial Officer, Carla Male.

Media outlets can sign out their copies of One Calgary 2019 – 2022 Service Plans and Budgets beginning 10:45 a.m.; only one copy of the document will be available per organization.
