Reminder: Media Advisory Symons Valley Parkway opening event

To celebrate the completion of the Symons Valley Parkway (128 Ave. N.W.) extension project, media are invited to attend an opening event hosted by the Ward 2 office.

Symons Valley Parkway provides an important connection for the communities of Sage Hill, Evanston, Symons Valley and Kincora. Completion of the missing link between 37 St. N.W. and Symons Valley Rd. will help to decrease travel time for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers, including neighbouring emergency services.

Following a brief program, Councillor Joe Magliocca will be available to speak to media. City representatives will also be available to answer questions about the project.

What: 128 Ave. N.W. opening

When: Friday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m.

Where: Intersection of Symons Valley Rd. and Symons Valley Parkway (128 Ave. N.W.)
