Media Advisory: Mayor to address reports of water consumption concerns

Mayor Naheed Nenshi will be available to address recent reports of customers experiencing higher than normal water consumption at a media availability this afternoon. 

When: Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 4 p.m.

Where: Glenmore Water Treatment Plant —1668-56 Avenue S.W.

Directions: Coming off Crowchild Trail, turn east onto 50th Avenue. Continue east until you get to 19 Street (visual cues on the corner; signage for Glenmore Athletic Park and other Recreation facilities including a pool). Turn south (right) and continue south until you come to 56 Avenue (visual cue includes a large white tented dome on the left and outdoor tennis courts). Turn left onto 56 Avenue after the tennis courts and a parking lot (visual cue; road will be signed as a “Private Road”). Please note: Do not use Google Maps; it is inaccurate and you will not arrive at the correct entrance.
