Media Advisory: Homicide Investigating Suspicious Death

Staff Sergeant Colin Chisholm of the Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit will speak in a virtual news conference this morning, Monday, June 28, 2021, at 11:15 a.m., to discuss the homicide that occurred over the weekend in the northeast community of Rundle.

Release:

We are investigating a suspicious death that occurred over the weekend in the northeast community of Rundle as a homicide.

An autopsy by The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is currently underway. The victim has been identified as Blake Louis WALKER, 37, of Calgary. WALKER was found deceased near the 2600 block of 38 Street N.E.

The GMC Sierra was recovered in the 3900 block of 29 Avenue S.E. We continue to ask if anyone saw the truck between 6 a.m., Friday, June 25, 2021 and 6 a.m., Saturday, June 26, 2021 to contact the Calgary Police Service Homicide Tip Line at 403-428-8877.
