Massage therapist charged in sexual assault

The Calgary Police Service has charged a massage therapist with sexual assault of a client.

On Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, a 26-year-old woman attended Bare Esthetics and Beauty Equipment, located at 1935 32 Avenue N.E., for a prescheduled massage appointment. The massage therapist allegedly sexually assaulted her throughout the course of her massage.

Once the appointment time had ended, the therapist left the victim in the room to re-dress. When she left the room, the therapist was standing at the door and allegedly told the victim that what happened in the room was to stay between them. He then allegedly provided her a piece of paper with his name and number on it, telling her to call him. The victim left and called police.

Angel David TINCO ZAMBRANO, 42, has been charged with sexual assault.

The Calgary Police Service encourages anyone who feels they have been a victim of sexual assault to report it to police. This can be done by calling 9-1-1 if you feel you are in immediate danger, or by calling the non-emergency number 403-266-1234.
