Man charged with sexual assault in January 2018 incident

The Calgary Police Service has charged one man in relation to a sexual assault.

On Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, a social gathering was taking place in the 200 block of 8 Avenue S.W.

It is alleged that in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018, while still at the gathering, the victim, a 21-year-old woman, was followed into the bathroom by her employer. The man allegedly cornered the victim in a stall and sexually assaulted her.

The victim pushed the accused away and left the bathroom.

Michael John NOBLE, 56, has been charged with sexual assault.
