Man charged with bank robbery
The Calgary Police Service has charged a man in connection with a recent bank robbery.
At approximately 10 a.m., on Monday, March 19, 2018, a man walked into a bank in the 700 block of 3 Street S.W., and handed a note to the teller. The note claimed the man was armed and demanded money.
The employee complied with the demand and the man left the bank. A short time later, police were alerted to a mall in the northeast for a man who matched the description of the offender. Police arrested the man and he has since been charged.
Nhial Kual KUAL, 23, of Calgary, has been charged with one count of robbery.
