Man charged with animal cruelty – HUSTON
The Calgary Police Service has charged a man with two animal cruelty offences.
At approximately 9 p.m., on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, police were called to the 6200 block of 17 Avenue S.E., for reports of an animal related complaint. Upon arrival, police located a deceased cat and the owner of the cat was taken into custody.
CCTV footage was obtained from the scene and is being reviewed by investigators.
Wayne Ogden HUSTON, 63, of Calgary, has been charged with one count to kill, maim, wound, or poison a domestic cat, and one count of unlawfully causing pain or suffering. He will next appear in court on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
